Rich Gershom has been active in the development, delivery and administration of sports medicine, fitness, and wellness programs and facilities for over thirty-five years. For the last 10 years, he has been the Director of Cleveland Clinic Akron General LifeStyles and Community Access & Wellness. He has worked in academic and hospital-based settings.  The CCAG Health & Wellness Center’s mission is to emphasize prevention, early detection, rehabilitation and outpatient treatment in a clinically integrated environment. LifeStyles is a large medical fitness center with over 5,500 members.  The Community Access & Wellness department provides wellness outreach services to our corporate and community clients.

Rich is a member of the Medical Fitness Association and has served on the Board of Directors. He has also served as a facility examiner for the MFA’s Facility Certification designation. Rich is also a Fellow of the Medical Fitness Association.
